1 in 6 children has developmental delays on average, but for the families with more risk factors, the stats are 1 in 4!

We are working with non-profits across Taiwan to identify high-risk families and help them see great breakthrough in communications with remote parenting and home speech-language intervention services .

In the past 7 years that PenguinSmart has had a presence in the beautiful island of Taiwan, we recognized that while a robust health system is in place, there is still a great gap in access for many families due to social and economic circumstances. "Wings of Hope for the Slow Angels" initiative was created to raise awareness and rally support for these families, and provide qualifying families with full scholarships to experience transformation through PenguinSmart's services.

Since 2024, we have served 46 families across 15 townships across Taiwan, with 6 non-profit partners referring and vetting candidate families with us. Each selected family goes through 6 months of pro bono remote speech-language intervention and parenting coaching support.

With the graduating families sharing wonderful news of incredible transformations, we look forward to expanding our impact - the goal is to support another 100 families by the end of 2026, each family requires $105/month of support. We cannot do this without your help!
